In any business traffic is the life blood, no traffic, no business.
Getting more visitors to your offer
. . .is always going to be your goal so here are eleven easy ways to accomplish that.
Blogging – Yep, blogging on your own blog and as a guest on someone else’s blog. As a guest blogger you are essentially “borrowing” another persons traffic. When offering to guest blog for another blogger you need to find someone who is blogging in the same niche that you are, or at least one that is closely aligned with your niche. For instance if you are blogging about a certain breed of dogs, you could guest post for a larger blog that focuses on dog training techniques. Guest blogging is all about making a grand entrance. This is your chance to make a big impression, so give it your best effort and make sure that you make your host look good.
Sharing your content – There are so many ways to share your content through bookmarketing sites, like Twitter, G+, Facebook and others. StumbleUpon has a paid option that is very reasonable to get more visitors looking at your website. There are also a variety of services like Fiverr, SocialAdr and Tribepro that can help you to get more social site back linking happening which in turn will increase the visitors to your site. And don’t forget to ping your posts with Pingler.com. *Note on auto posting with auto posters on Facebook…sometimes your posts can be perceived as being less personal.
Create a signature give away piece – You can create a video, a report, a whole ebook even to give away. Make sure that it is stellar as it should be the corner stone of your marketing efforts. Ask for subscriptions to your site in exchange for this incredible piece of creative effort. It is always better to have repeat visitors than to have to get more visitors to your site.
Commenting – Read and comment on other blogs in the same niche as you are in. Visit the blogs of other commentors on larger blogs that you follow. Add something of value in your comments, don’t leave links. In fact if you read something that is in your niche that works with what you are blogging about, link to their blog. Good Karma is important in the internet world. After all Zig Ziglar said, If you help enough people get what they want you will get what you want. This is the perfect way to help someone else in an area that you are trying to excel at too
Repackaging – Write one post and then rewrite it several times in different formats such as turn it into a video, make it a slideshow, rework it as a “how to” piece, or a press release change it up and post in article marketing sites, over on slideshare.net, and there are several places you can post your videos not just on YouTube
Signature file – Every time you write an email you could be telling everyone you write to about your website or offer. It doesn’t have to be elaborate but it should inspire curiosity.
Business cards – They used to be called calling cards in the old days. You could resurrect that idea with a business sized card and a strong call to action. Send them and pass them out to everyone. And by everyone I mean everyone, the cashier, the drive through person, stick them in the window on the driver’s side of cards, when you pay bills, as a bookmark in magazines at the doctor’s office…everywhere and everyone.
Put a sticker on the back window of your car – Again a catchy, curiosity driving statement and an easy to remember url goes a long way toward making this method to get more visitors work.
Wear your logo – Go over to Zazzle.com and make up some T-Shirts with your message or logo and your website. You might want to word your message in a way that generates comments. Be ready with a question when someone says something about your attire.
Ask your friends to visit and comment – Your real life friends and even those friends in the cyber world (that you’ve actually had interaction with so they won’t think of it as spam) might be willing to stop by and leave some feedback and share.
Trade sharing the love – If you are active in your niche you will know others that post closely related information, link back and forth to each other’s sites, and don’t forget to share while you are there and of course you will want to leave comments especially if no one has left a comment yet.
